This is machine stitching over here as opposed to hand stitching. Now when I face say for scrapbooking you can put that in anything you want to, it doesn't have to be for scrapbooking. That was java this is lace for scrapbooking. So I think that a lot of appeal to just about everybody. New and enhanced features using those, and then more of the home use, scrapbooking, drawing painting, and then more of a commercial use, logos, marketing, CD packaging. Again, I've kind of divided this whole tutorial under a couple of three kind of broad sections.
Hand stitching, simulating hand stitching on a scrapbook page. Grommet, fairly simple but you use that on scrapbooking pages to hold things down. Glued glitter swirl is the appearance of glue with glitter on top of it on a scrapbook page. This frame which would be like a globe frame in scrapbooking, you would put a picture of your son, your daughter, your spouse in there, or whatever your favorite candy bar. Look at this, a gear pin that you would use in scrapbooking. I want to give you a sense of everything we're going to accomplish in this. A logo for a place called Eatzzaria, which is imaginary. DVD disc art, which you would use to print out on the DVD. DVD cover, I created this in Paint Shop Pro as an illustration of again a commercial use that you might use Paint Shop Pro for. Distressed fabric, I really like this one, that looks very real but I did it completely in Paint Shop Pro Photo XI. Cutout letters, another scrapbooking, that's cool.

I've gone online to get stock photography for free to use in those things. You can see I'm using similar elements for my kind of fictitious advertising campaigns where I've got logos under the same color schemes, and a theme of flowers. Counter mat, same kind of concept only it's laying down now. Counter card, another advertising marketing signage which would sit on a counter of a retail establishment. Cling, this is a static cling, another marketing signage where you might create this to put on the window of a business and advertise. Chalked edges, look at the chalked edge down this fabric strip, which you would use in scrapbooking. This is the front side, and then the back of the CD cover is the track listing where I've got a picture of the sky that I've applied different effects to and then overlaid it with text. Got a CD cover, Go Superhero Go by Robert Correll. Got a logo about a place called Casa Loma which means house on a hill. Got a camouflage background for scrapbooking. This is going to go in the scrapbooking part where I've got these silver brads on this fabric background. This is a marketing banner where I've used text and graphics in a more or an advertising arena where you would use Paint Shop Pro Photo to create this to then display information about a company. I'm going to spend the rest of the time in this opening lesson just opening up some of the samples that I've created that I'm going to use in the tutorial.
